Melania Calinescu, PhD, is an AI executive and strategic advisor with 15+ years of experience building and scaling AI/ML products and organizations. She is the founder of AI4ALL Solutions, an independent AI strategy advisory firm working with executives and investors on consequential AI decisions.
Previously, Dr. Melania served as SVP of AI Strategy at data.ai, where she led the company’s AI strategy and multidisciplinary teams responsible for the AI/ML capabilities underpinning the company’s products. Her work included developing and scaling AI-powered products, shaping enterprise technology strategy and serving as a senior technical leader through the company’s M&A process. Today, she advises organizations on enterprise AI strategy, technology and investment decisions, AI platform and data architecture and the translation of emerging AI capabilities into durable business value.
Dr. Melania holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and brings together mathematical rigor, hands-on experience building production AI systems and executive leadership.
As HMD’s AI & Data Strategy Board Advisor, she provides strategic guidance on the role of AI across the organization’s platform and broader ecosystem, helping shape technology priorities, architecture and responsible approaches to scaling AI-enabled capabilities.
