Parul Nanda

Parul Nanda is a technology and engineering leader with over 20 years of experience designing, developing, modernizing, and leading technology platforms across financial services, payments, capital markets, and high-performance digital environments. She currently serves as a Software Engineering Manager at FIS, where she leads distributed engineering teams delivering resilient, scalable technology solutions for capital markets and supply-chain finance.

At HMD, Parul serves as Technical Board Advisor & Technology Lead, providing strategic and technical leadership as HMD builds its technology infrastructure, digital platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, and long-term technology architecture.

Her experience spans software architecture, cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, application modernization, microservices, Kubernetes, platform performance, Agile delivery, technology integration, and engineering leadership. She has led complex modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy systems to microservices architectures, while improving system performance, reliability, engineering workflows, and delivery timelines.

Parul also brings significant experience developing high-performing engineering organizations. At IG Index, she led a geographically distributed team of approximately 20 developers and QA engineers, established engineering practices, mentored technical talent, and drove improvements across DORA metrics, flow metrics, SLO/SLA management, and software delivery.

Earlier in her career, Parul worked extensively in payments and financial technology, including at WorldPay, where she contributed to secure payment integrations, PCI DSS initiatives, encryption, digital wallet technology, and payment-platform development.
